Afternoon Tea in Kensington
The Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea
Launching 15 May and in celebration of spring’s arrival, Templeton Garden will offer The Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea, taking inspiration from our standout garden.
Served on fine Fleur des Alpes bone china by Rosenthall, the menu is a celebration of classic flavours and seasonal produce. Expect freshly baked scones with berry jam and Cornish clotted cream, delicious cakes using ingredients from our very own garden and a selection of classic finger sandwiches like glazed gammon with English mustard and Devon Smoked salmon and lemon on beetroot bread.
Our Afternoon Tea can also be complemented with specially created, seasonal cocktails from our bar, Sprout. Try the Jam Bramble, a balanced blend of Beafeater gin, seasonal jam and citrus sherbet.
The garden offers a welcomed retreat from the city, making the perfect backdrop to enjoy Afternoon Tea on Pippin’s sun-lit terrace. Alternatively, guests can also choose to experience it in Pippin’s Restaurant or the lobby space.
Priced at £55 per person or £65 per person including a glass of Nyetimber Demi Sec. Afternoon Tea with a trio of seasonal cocktails from Sprout bar – £70 per person.

Children’s Afternoon Tea
Our children’s Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea is a playful, garden-inspired experience designed for curious minds and smaller appetites. The perfect end to a visit to the Natural History Museum or Holland Park, this family-friendly Afternoon Tea makes Templeton Garden a go-to choice for days out in Kensington.
Little ones can tuck into a trio of soft finger sandwiches — jam, ham and cucumber, followed by freshly baked scones served with seasonal berry jam and Cornish clotted cream. Sweet treats are where the story unfolds… a white chocolate and raspberry bunny cake takes centre stage, joined by miniature garden-inspired bakes.
Priced at £25 per child.
