Making, cancelling & amending a booking

Making a booking

You may make a booking online, by telephone or in person. We do not charge different prices depending on the method of booking, unless we issue a promotional offer that must be redeemed using a particular method, in which case we will be clear about that. Please check our website, or phone us, for room rates. Room rates are subject to VAT and city tax.

Cancelling a booking

Occasionally people wish to cancel all or part of a booking. In that situation, we like to make things easy for you, and so if you are early enough in your cancellation, we often won’t need to charge. Please read the rest of this clause to understand the position.

You may cancel a booking online, by telephone or in person – regardless of the method you have used to make the booking initially.

With the exception of pre-paid bookings, group bookings of 9 rooms or more, or any special promotion that states different cancellation terms, our policy is that:

  • if you cancel a booking before 3:00 p.m. (France time) on the day prior to check-in, you will not be charged for the cancellation; and
  • if you cancel a booking after 3:00 p.m. (France time) on the day prior to check-in, you must pay one night’s stay (plus VAT) for your cancelled room (or for each room, if you booked more than one), based on the price you would have paid for the room(s).

Amending a booking

If you wish to change the dates of your booking, this will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and will be subject to the cancellation provisions.

The following are non-cancellable and non-refundable in all situations:

  • fully pre-paid bookings;
  • group bookings of 9 rooms or more; and
  • bookings made under certain special offers where we have made it clear prior to your booking that no cancellation or refund is possible.

If you wish to leave prior to your departure date, you must pay an early-departure fee of the equivalent of one night’s stay (plus VAT) for each cancelled room (plus the current night’s stay if you tell us after 3:00 p.m. and your new departure date is the following day).

Assistance with luggage and storage is available to guests of the hotel through the Front Desk. The hotel is not responsible for luggage stored over 24 hours after departure.

We will require a valid credit or debit card at check-in. In addition to room and city tax, a refundable amount will be deducted from your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges during the stay.

You may check in from 3:00 p.m. (France time) on the first day of your stay, and you must check out by 11:00 am (France time) on your day of departure, however if you wish stay longer please contact the front desk (fees may apply).
