Our Neighbourhood
At Miiro Spittelberg, the neighbourhood is part of the stay. This guide is a list of places we actually go to nearby, tucked-away wine bars, good coffee, galleries, museums, and cafés where you can sit for longer than you meant to.

Eat & Drink
There’s no shortage of good tables in the neighbourhood, but these are a few of our regular spots for good food and great drinks.
Bistro Fantasy

Raw concrete, silver tables, strong coffee, and an all-day menu that keeps things simple but very good. Bistro Fantasy serves sharp, creative plates from morning to late, with natural wine and a room you’ll want to sit in longer than planned. Enjoy.
Take me thereCafé Comet

Small, cosy, and serious about coffee. Café Comet pours beans from local roastery Fürth, with strong espresso, cold brew, and pastries worth adding even if you said you wouldn’t. Grab a seat by the fireplace if you can.
Take me thereAdlerhof

If you like your cafés with character, Adlerhof is a good one to know. Set inside a former salon, it mixes old coffeehouse charm with a slightly offbeat edge. Go for the long breakfasts, stay for the atmosphere, and don’t rush it.
Take me therePoco

We’ll admit it, we’re biased. Poco is our neighbourhood restaurant and bar, right here at Miiro Spittelberg. Coffee in the morning, pizza and natural wine later on, and always a good place to start or end the night.
Take me thereOut & About

Calienna

On Neubaugasse, Calienna brings together plants, design, and creative studio energy under one roof. Expect curated greenery, interior finds, and a calm, minimal space that feels closer to a gallery than a shop.
Take me thereMuseumsQuartier

A few minutes from Miiro Spittelberg, MuseumsQuartier is home to some of Vienna’s best-known museums alongside smaller galleries and cultural spaces. Go for the exhibitions, stay for the courtyard, and don’t expect to leave quickly.
Take me thereVolkstheater

Just around the corner, Volkstheater is one of Vienna’s best-known stages, with a mix of classic plays, modern productions, and the occasional surprise. Even if you don’t have tickets, it’s worth passing by for the building alone.
Take me thereCopenhagen Hus

If you like your interiors simple and well made, Copenhagen Hus is a good one to know. The concept store focuses on Danish design, with furniture, homeware, and clothing spread across a bright space and a tucked-away courtyard showroom.
