Summer in Gstaad
As the snow melts, Gstaad becomes a vibrant alpine escape. Green meadows, wildflowers, and long sunny days set the scene for hikes, lake swims and a calendar of seasonal events.
Lauenensee Roundtrip Hike

Follow the tranquil Louibach stream for an easy 45-minute round trip towards Lauenensee. The beautiful lake reflects the bright summer sky, offering breathtaking views. On warm days, the water is pleasant for a refreshing swim. With gentle paths and fresh mountain air, this route is perfect for a relaxing stroll.

From Schönried station, take a short walk to the Rellerli parking area. From there, a scenic hiking trail (around 1 hour and 15 minutes) leads you to a unique highlight – a giant fondue pot that seats up to eight people, perfect for a memorable alpine picnic. You can even order your fondue backpack at our reception.

This scenic trail, just a 25-minute drive from Gstaad, is surrounded by magnificent mountains. The easy one-hour walk around the lake is perfect for a nice afternoon walk or a family daytrip.
