The Mansard welcomes a fresh culinary chapter: From 1 July 2025, rising star Tom Walter takes over as head chef. Trained under Tanja Grandits brings honest yet surprising Swiss cuisine to our restaurant and Gstaad’s only rooftop terrace. From the 4th of September, we’ll have a completely new menu – reserve your table to try it out.
The Restaurant observes a regular day of rest on Mondays and Tuesdays and the Mansard Bar & Lounge are open all week.

The Mansard Rooftop
Pair panoramic views of the mountains and surrounding countryside with delicious cocktails at The Mansard Rooftop, Gstaad’s only open-air rooftop bar. This year-round destination makes for a vibrant and scenic meeting point in central Gstaad. Toast to your day’s adventures with our nourishing menu of snacks and light bites paired with an expertly-mixed cocktail or a glass of wine.
The Rooftop Bar is open daily, except Wednesdays its regular rest day.

Attached to the restaurant is the Mansard Bar, our elegant wood-panelled bar and lounge space with open fireplace. After a day in the mountain, revive yourself with cake, coffee, cocktails, or a glass of wine from our extensive global wine list.
