Volta Restaurant
Sitting beneath the Porxos de Fontseré arches, Volta is shaped by Western Mediterranean cooking, Barcelona produce and the Italian roots of Executive Chef Andrea De Benedictis. It is a natural setting for intimate semi-private dining, full-blown birthday celebrations, corporate full venue takeovers and everything else in between. Our team will help you create an experience to remember, with seasonal dishes made to share. For table bookings of 15 guests or more, your celebration starts with a welcome drink on us.
Volta Bar
Set beneath a sweeping skylight, Volta Bar is inspired by Italy’s aperitivo ritual, a place to gather, sip and take your time. It is a natural setting for intimate casual meetings, big blowout celebrations, and exclusive corporate events, shifting effortlessly from bright daytime pours to softly lit evenings. Our team will help you shape an experience to remember, with a drinks list that reworks Italian classics through a coastal Mediterranean lens, complemented by a considered selection of bar snacks designed for sharing.
Volta Terrace
Set beneath the iconic Porxos de Fontseré arches, Volta Terrace offers a striking setting for open-air events in the heart of the city. It is a natural choice for celebratory drinks, long table dinners, press events and everything in between, with a menu curated by Volta Restaurant and Bar. Our team will help you create a memorable occasion shaped by the flavours of the Mediterranean.
The Gallery
Located in the lobby, The Gallery is a relaxed lounge space designed for informal gatherings throughout the day. It is a natural setting for casual celebrations and social moments, where guests can settle in with drinks by the fire in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. As part of Borneta’s art programme, the space also showcases creative commissions by leading talent from Barcelona’s art scene, adding a cultural backdrop to every gathering.
The Library
For something truly intimate, our cosy book-lined snug is the perfect place. In collaboration with nearby bookstore Casa Fahrenheit, our Library is curated with a wide selection of both English and Spanish-language books, some of which contain fascinating stories about our local neighbourhood. Accommodating up to 10 guests, it is the ideal space to celebrate with drinks and snacks with your loved ones or colleagues.
Private Dining
Ideal for work meetings or intimate dinners with friends in El Born, our private dining room seats up to 14 guests around a long table. The space is designed to be flexible, allowing the doors to be fully closed for complete privacy or left open to connect with the atmosphere of the adjoining Gallery.
180º Rooftop Bar
A stunning backdrop for your next event, our Rooftop is the perfect setting with spectacular city views over the Parc de la Ciutadella and beyond. Ideal for cocktail receptions or intimate parties, the space features a bar, lounge seating and our bespoke egg sculpture created especially for Borneta by renowned artist Pilar Zeta, who has been nominated for two Grammys for her multi-media work with musicians Coldplay and Camila Cabello.
